Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

One of the most prodigious goaltenders of the modern era, Henrik Lundqvist has secured more wins than any other European netminder in history while also serving as the darling of Manhattan since joining the Blueshirts, in 2005. Lundqvist would earn the Vezina in 2012 while also being nominated for the coveted Hart Memorial Trophy. This photo-matched Rangers jersey was worn by the superstar Swede in 2013-14, specifically on Jan 18th and Feb 7th of 2014. A “Goalie Style” label and “58” size tag are affixed to the collar (with mounted Steiner hologram), with a Rangers bar code affixed directly above along with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in blue-over-red drop-shadow tackle twill, “30” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Lundqvist” across the affixed arching nameplate. An LOA from Steiner will accompany the desirable “Set 4” garment.
The jersey sports nice game-use with a few marks visible over the front and sleeves, with some red paint transfer over the left elbow. There is also a production sticker still affixed inside the intact fight strap. Getty Image #475307211 (Feb 7, 2014) has been matched to the pair of black marks in between the "30" and the upper blue stripe on the right sleeve, and to the faint black mark on the lower front hem just above the upper blue stripe (in line with the "N" of Rangers).
