An expansion club founded in 1977 and originally based at Exhibition Stadium, the Toronto Blue Jays have claimed six East Division titles along with a pair of World Series championships during their MLB tenure thus far. This lot contains a collection of three bats used by Blue Jays players; Joe Carter, Jesse Barfield and Pat Borders. The 1991-97 Carter bat is a Rawlings J93 signature model and the 35" lumber has "29" handwritten over the knob. The bat shows decent game wear and has pine tar on the handle which has a long crack (about 10") and blue rack marks. Next is a Jesse Barfield circa 1986 Adirondack P302 model with "29" handwritten over the knob which is also engraved with "225 B 190 6". The 34 ½" gamer has a sticker with text "Blue Jays 1986" over the top of the barrel and it exhibits nice game wear with pine tar on the handle and blue rack marks. Lastly, a Pat Borders Louisville Slugger S44 model has "10" handwritten over the knob and has a dedicated signature on the barrel which reads "To Mike, Pat Borders #10" and the signature is nice and clean. The 34 ¾" bat exhibits decent game wear and has blue rack marks.
