Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

Spending his entire HOF career with the Montreal Canadiens, Elmer Lach earned five All-Star selections, with both the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies won throughout his NHL tenure. Lach’s number was officially retired by Les Canadiens on Dec 4, 2009 (also previously retired for Henri Richard), and he has signed this impressive banner in gold-coloured sharpie with his “16” front and center along with the years he was active, 1940-1954. At approx. 20 ½” x 48”, the solid red two-sided vinyl banner displays beautifully, with just minor wrinkles present from the material “bunching-up”, with the signature displaying beautifully. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany, along with a small wooden rod to insert into the top of the banner to facilitate hanging.
