Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
We rate this 1969-70 assembly as a decent/acceptable lower grade ensemble, with very little above VG and a majority of cards below VG, with a crease or creases. Among the notables, #24-Orr is off-centered but crease-free and VG, while rookie cards of Tony Esposito (G+) and Serge Savard (G) are without unsightly creases/flaws - not bad. Orr All-Star (F) has a heavy crease, with Orr Norris Trophy Poor due to front and back damage. Two small stains in the left border affect the otherwise VG 61-Howe card, with both checklists marked; 132-1st Series has multiple creases while 31-2nd Series has two lighter creases. The Howe Mr. Hockey card (F) is the no number version. Hall of Famers, stars and some three dozen rookie cards, including those of Quinn, Favell, Desjardins, Tkaczuk, the Hextalls, Pronovost, Nanne and Ley are among the rest. A childhood collection will take you back to your childhood!
