Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Witnessing considerable action throughout its eight years of use, this floor section from the hallowed Chicago Stadium was installed from 1987 until the venue closed its doors in 1994, and it’s been signed by hoops legend Michael Jordan and placed within an attractive shadow box display. In place during the Bulls’ three consecutive championships in the early-1990s, the approx 6” x 6” section of hardwood flooring has been signed in black marker, with a few area where the signature appears thinner/lighter, with this most likely due to a weak marker. A double-matted 8” x 10” photo of Jordan in game action has been added over the left, with a pair of small plaques present beneath the flooring section including one listing the Upper Deck limited-edition number of “610/1000”. The shadow box is approx 27 ¾” x 2” x 19”, with a UDA COA to accompany for the signature along with a second COA for the floor section itself. We should also note some wear/damage to the shadow box.
