Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

A low grade 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee Guy Lafleur rookie card leads chronologically here, with multiple creases more evident when viewing the back but still rendering card #148 P-F, although no paper loss, rips, writing or other really unsightly major flaws are to report. Guy's second-year OPC card is better at VG, with a '73-74 OPC a little nicer at VG+. Four other entries from the 1970s are creased and below VG. Three cards feature nice bold marker autographs; they're OPCs from '76-77, '79-80 and '81-82. The remainder, mostly from the '80s and early-'90s do not carry a whole lot of weight but are swell complements, as is an '82-83 OPC card autographed by fellow Hall of Famer Marcel Dionne. A few thrown-in bonuses are highlighted by baseball items, including two extremely scarce 8-1/2" by 11" pictures similar to 1971 Montreal Expos postcards and posters by Pro Star Publications. The date and company name appears in the border below photos of Claude Raymond and Steve Renko, with a Sealtest logo in the upper left corner. Both have condition issues; the Raymond is affected by tape stains while the Renko piece has been trimmed and applied to cardboard. A couple of Expos Upper Deck commemorative sheets and an 8" by 10" photo autographed by Richard Hidalgo (with COA) are also included.
