Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

Essential to the success of the Montreal Canadiens throughout the club’s late-1970s domination, Larry Robinson would be awarded the James Norris Memorial Trophy twice for his stalwart defending, with the Conn Smythe also earned as the MVP of the 1978 Stanley Cup playoffs. Hailing from that successful era, we have a stick used by the Hall of Fame defenceman circa 1979-80. A KOHO 221 model with intact striping accents, “Robinson” is stamped over the upper shaft, with the lumber retaining the original black tape over the blade and white spiral grip over the handle. Light to moderate use is exhibited, with wear to the blade including the underside, with a very minor and barely visible separation along the top of the heel section, with this mentioned strictly for accuracy, as the stick remains completely solid.
