Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Beginning play as the Alaska Teamsters in 1975, the Colorado Gold Kings joined the newly-formed West Coast Hockey League in 1995, qualifying for the playoffs in each season until the club folded after 2001-02. This Gold Kings jersey was worn by Shawn Harris in his only season with the club, where he registered 217 PIM. A Jersey Express label is affixed to the collar along with a “58” size tag, with a Contak patch over the reverse hem. Styled with an attractive team crest with embroidered detailing, “22” appears over the sleeves and verso, with “Harris” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The dual-clasp fight strap has also been customized, with Harris signing in black marker. Exhibiting nice game use, there are dark marks over the lower front, along with board burns over each sleeve including a few small resulting holes near the right elbow. There is also a small tear near the left cuff.
