Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Witnessing both regular-season and playoff action and a souvenir of his days in the American south, this helmet was worn by defenceman P.K. Subban while with Nashville in 2017-18, and it’s been photo-matched to both the regular season and playoffs. A CCM model in solid gold, Predators decals grace each side, with “76” over the front and reverse, with a Stanley Cup Playoffs sticker over the bottom right reverse and Humboldt Broncos decal to honour the victims of the team’s tragic bus crash on the bottom left. The chin strap, Oakley visor and interior harness are all intact, with nice use exhibited, with a number of scratches and surface abrasions visible throughout. An LOA from the Nashville Predators will accompany.
Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, Getty Images #925177976 (Feb 25, 2018), #929832188 (March 8, 2018), #951167594 (April 20, 2018 - Game 5 of the Western Conference quarterfinals) and #953925596 (April 27, 2018 - Game One of the Western Conference semifinals) have all been matched to the scratch in the second "C" of "CCM" on the front of the helmet.
