The youngest captain in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup, Sidney Crosby is now a three-time winner, with his remarkable career assuring Hall of Fame enshrinement as well as preeminent status as one of the modern game’s all-time greatest. This highly desirable photo-matched Pittsburgh Penguins captain’s alternate jersey was worn by the superstar in 2016-17, a season that witnessed Sid capture the Conn Smythe and Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophies as well as his third Stanley Cup championship. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Pens team crest, “87” appears over the sleeves and verso in oversized numerals, with “Crosby” across the affixed nameplate in single black twill. The “City of Champions” crest resides over the upper left sleeve. Equipment Manager Dana Heinze has signed the fight strap, with a JerseyTRAC chip added just above. The team patch numbered “PH#G16173419” sits on the inside hem with a matching COA from the Penguins to accompany, with a second affixed team patch listing the game’s the jersey was worn in, including March 26, 2017 vs Philadelphia, and on April 2, 2017 vs Carolina.
