Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020

Possessing great stickhandling and passing abilities and teaming with Stan Mikita to form a diminutive but dynamic duo, Ken Wharram scored a career-high 39 goals to earn First Team All-Star recognition in 1963-64, with this captivating offering scoring an all-time high MINT 9 at PSA. Card #108 in Topps’ 110-card ’64-65 issue is difficult indeed to secure in MINT 9 form; just four have merited such a coveted mark in the history of PSA. The company’s Population Report informs of one NM-MT+ 8.5 and 33 NM-MT 8s out of 176 total submissions. The back here mentions the speedy Wharram as one of the least penalized NHL players, with the Lady Byng Trophy awarded to Ken in ’63-64. This Ken will contribute to an award-worthy Tall Boy set.
