Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
A veteran of over 1,000 NHL contests, Patrice Brisebois was originally selected 30th overall by Montreal in 1989, with the former NASCAR Pinty’s Series racer third all-time for the Habs for games played by a defenceman. Originally acquired directly from the Canadiens, this Habs jersey was worn by the Montreal native in the mid-1990s, circa 1996-97. A size “58” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “43” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue layered tackle twill, with “Brisebois” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Exhibiting very light game use, a few small board burns are visible over each elbow section.
