Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
A product of the WHL’s Regina Pats, Jeff Friesen is a veteran of over 800 NHL contests including with Anaheim, Washington, Calgary and San Jose, with a Stanley Cup championship won with New Jersey, in 2003. From his time in San Jose, we have a Sharks jersey worn by the Meadow Lake native, in 1995-96. CCM labeling along with a “52” size tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the lower reverse hem. Styled with an attractive Sharks team crest that saw use from 1991 to 1998, “19” appears over the sleeves and verso in teal-over-black tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Seeing action during the regular season, we should note that Friesen only wore the #19 jersey earlier-on in 1995-96, in October.
A few stick marks are visible on the front including a large example over the team crest, with additional dark marks and faint board burns over each sleeve, with a bit of red paint transfer near the left armpit.
