Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020

A tantalizing and tempting Bobby Hull rookie card is on the block here. As most know, card #66 from Topps' 1958-59 issue more often than not is off-centered, with this example featuring very pleasing, albeit not perfect, centering. There's quite a bit of a right border(!) and the edges and corners contribute to the overall eye appeal and the NM+ 7.5 grade assigned by SGC. The company's "86" is the same as Bobby's son Brett's single season career high for goals - cool. And what about Bobby's numbers? Five 50-or-more goal seasons and ten First All-Star Team selections come to mind, along with three scoring titles and two Hart Trophies. We'd say he's the best left winger of all-time, with this Hull RC one of the best we've handled in years.
As for the SGC holder, a few very light surface scratches (front) and faint remnants of adhesive/price sticker (back) should not be considered deterrents.
