Highlighted by a framed lithograph celebrating his first game with LA, we have a trio of signed Wayne Gretzky items, including a pair of framed displays. First, the limited-edition litho for Wayne’s first game is entitled “Welcome to LA” and is 18” x 23”. Next, we have a limited-edition framed photo of Wayne plotting goal #802, on March 23, 1994. Lastly, we have a signed two-card set issued by Upper Deck in 1992 (one card is signed and numbered “1499/2800”).
The “Welcome to LA” litho has what appears to be an original ticket to the Oct 6, 1988 match vs Detroit. Wayne has added a nice black marker signature to the litho, with the limited-edition number of “409/500” over the bottom left, framed to full dimensions of 24” x 31 ½”.
The framed photo of Wayne plotting goal #802 i signed by Wayne which added a large black marker signature along with “802”, with the limited-edition number of “735/802”, framed to 18 ½” x 22 ½”.
The “802” photo (UDA hologram AAB23400) and “Welcome to LA” litho (UDA hologram UDT23470) both remain in beautiful condition, with some wear visible to the photo including a few minor surface indentations, with wear to each frame. The cards both show light wear (UDA hologram AAB22786).
