Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Their first of three gold medals won at the Winter Olympics from 2002 until 2014, Team Canada would defeat a strong American contingent in the 2002 gold medal match, 5-2. Ed Belfour would serve as backup to Curtis Joseph and Martin Brodeur, with this collection of signed 2002 Winter Olympics Team Canada jerseys hailing from his personal collection. We have a pair in solid red and a pair in white, with each Nike jersey featuring sizing along the collar, along with partially embroidered team crests and tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers. Ed has signed the reverse “2” on each jersey in black marker, with no issues for the large signatures. A signed LOA from Ed Belfour will accompany.
