Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Originating from a youth playing for Saint-Lambert (South Shore of Montreal), we have a vintage collection of wool hockey sweaters (3), uniform socks (3 pairs), hockey sticks (2), skates and photos (2). The first sweater is a blue and white high-neck with no labeling (size 34), with a matching pair of blue socks, with an included 3” x 4 ½” photo showing the player wearing both. The second sweater is beige, brown and gold, in the style of the Boston Bruins of the 1920s/30s, with a felt “H” over the front and “5” over the reverse (size 40). The third sweater is red with black accents, with a felt “H” over the front and “4” over the reverse (size 40), with matching uniform socks. Neither sweater has any labeling, with each sporting light wear. The sticks include a Hespeler one-piece model with heavy wear and tape over the blade, with the second a CCM Flyte model, with light to moderate wear.
The skates are in poor condition, with “Automobile” blades, most likely made by CCM. The third pair of socks is actually just a single, in royal blue with white stripes. The remaining photo is 5” x 7” and pictures a boy's team, with heavy wear including creases and edge tears.
