The Hall of Famers in our title lead the star power in this 1952 Bowman offering which is low on obvious/unsightly creases and dominated by VG, VG+, VG-EX and VG-EX+ examples, with EX entries also in the mix, along with a small percentage below VG. An EX Bob Feller card is most noteworthy, while 44-Campanella and 11-Kiner have wax/gum stains on the reverse (otherwise VG+ and VG-EX respectively), with 24-Furillo, 30-Schoendienst and 80-Hodges VG or VG+. Most notable EXs are 17-Lopat and 189-Piersall, with corner creases/wear lowering 53-Ashburn (ST) to below VG. There are two distinctive groups; cards numbered up until 105 (45 )and then (30) from 187-on, but with nothing above 216. The second group features ten duplicates, including 194-Porterfield, with other notables being 27-Garagiola, 38-Lockman, 39-Wertz, 41-Carrasquel, 81-Goodman, 82-Zernial, 94-Sewell, 95-Easter, 96-Branca, 98-Dykes, 105-Brown, 187-Hegan and 188-Dressen. For some reason there is one hammered card; 208-Cooper, with 191-Friend RC at F. A few possibilities with this stack of interesting little collectibles.
