Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Produced for modern superstar Sidney Crosby’s use and originally purchased in a large group of equipment directly from the Penguins, this lot contains a pair of gloves issued to Sid for the 2011 Winter Classic in Pittsburgh, along with running shoes that according to our consignor, were made for Crosby’s use at the 2009 NHL All-Star Game (Sidney didn’t play). The gloves are Reebok models in solid navy blue, with both “Penguins” and “87” embroidered onto each. 14" in length and never used, the gloves remain in beautiful condition. The shoes were also produced by Reebok, with the DMX Foam models sporting the 2009 All-Star Game logo over each tongue and “87” embroidered near each heel section. Both laces are intact, with the shoes in beautiful condition, with a small red blemish over the top section along the back of the ankle on the left shoe.
