Produced for use during the Fall Classic throughout the mid-1980s, we have a large collection of baseballs totaling 23, with a few other examples present including a ball made for the 1984 Summer Olympics. Included, we have 10 World Series balls from 1983 (Kuhn), 2 from 1984 (Ueberroth), 4 from 1985 and 7 from 1986, followed by the single example for the 1984 Games in Los Angeles (Rawlings). Also included, we have a pair of official NL Rawlings balls, with one from White’s tenure, the other, Giamatti, along with an “Official League” ball (Rawlings) and “Little League” ball (Wilson). The majority of the baseballs in the collection feature bold stampings along with heavy toning/staining, with just a single example from the World Series baseballs remaining completely white.
