The late Gary Carter’s signed 1983 Montreal Expos Louisville Slugger P89 game-issued baseball bat is featured in this collection of three items from the collection of Senator Normand Grimard (QC, Canada). Carter, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003, signed and wrote a dedication to the senator and his wife in bold blue marker on the barrel of the bat to the left of Carter’s stamped facsimile signature. Carter also signed and dedicated his autograph on each of two framed photos included, one of him posed with the senator, the other posed with his wife, Dolly, which also has a dedicated signature from Duke Snider, who posed along with Carter in both photos.
Carter’s dedication on the barrel of the bat reads: “To Normand & Dolly, All my best wishes and may God bless always. Take care and keep smiling, Gary Carter.”
