Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Always seen well dressed and perfectly groomed throughout his post-career public appearances, we have a group of cufflinks totaling four pairs, with each hailing from the personal collection of Jean Beliveau. Included, we have a pair that sports the logo from the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, one pair made from Newfoundland pennies, one pair featuring images of BCE Place, and most interestingly, one pair that features stylized “JB” initials. The majority of the cufflinks show light wear from use and are unmarked, with the JB cufflinks accompanied by a smaller matching tie clip, with each of the three pieces stamped “14K” and “Unique”. We should also note some staining over the reverse of each BCE Place cufflink. An LOA from the Beliveau family will accompany.
