Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020

1960s material highlights this stash, with a 1963-64 Toronto Star set featuring VG to EX pictures joined by killer images that were once part of General Mills cereal boxes. Larger (17) and small (6) cardboard affairs are rough and once were glued, but rather scarce/cool. A scarce Post Marbles game board in its original box exhibits some toning, along with cracks at one corner but marble owners often are looking for a board. Complete sets of ’70-71 Esso Power Players are in (G-VG) soft and hard (with player statistics affixed) cover albums, while three ’74-75 Action Stamp albums are 75%+ (2) and 50%+ complete. Just a couple of Eddie Sargent stamps are in an album with Gilbert Perreault on the cover. Two Rangers-related items are cool; a torn-in-two Kitchener Rangers centerfold lineup/program page is autographed by 18, including future NHLers Walt Tkaczuk, Don Luce, Ab DeMarco, Jack Egers and Denis Dupere, while an early-‘70s puck has facsimile signatures of New York Rangers players. ….Other less-thrilling but still fun stuff includes a 1982 O-Pee-Chee hockey sticker set in album, ‘83-84 Funmate NHL Puffy Sticker albums (3) and (60) unopened sticker packs, ‘83-84 Edmonton Oilers Fun and Facts albums and cards/stickers, two 1989 Esso hockey albums with (loose) cards and a few miscellaneous throw-ins.
