Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020

A shoebox-like find here features classic Parkhurst cards in well-enjoyed-and-at-time-abused condition, with most of the biggies from a near set (93/100) of 1953-5 Parkies not present. Not to be found are Beliveau RC, Howe, Richard, Harvey, McNeil, Moore and Richard & Lach. Notables present and Poor are Worsley RC (paper loss - front), Horton (two pinholes) and Sawchuk, with the rest mostly P-F-G and only a small percentage making it to VG. We spot some trimmed cards (Delvechio, Arbour RC), with however most backs problem-free. .....Also present are two partial sets from '54-55 (85/100 and 72/100), along with 30 duplicates. Condition is similar, (actually, a little worse(!)) than the previous year's representatives, with the most noteworthy cards pictured below, including a hammered Johnny Bower RC. Tossed-in are ten low graders from '62-63. Low grade bonanza might yield a few pleasant surprises and offers plenty of relatively cheap fun. ....The missing numbers from the two groups of '54-55s are as follows: (85/100) set missing #s 3, 16, 24, 31, 40, 42, 54, 63, 68, 70, 73, 79, 82, 93, 99 and (72/100) set missing #s 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 21, 24, 30, 31, 41, 42, 44, 53, 57, 62, 65, 68, 70, 79, 82, 87, 89, 91, 93, 94, 95, 97, 99.
