Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Enforcer Darren Langdon spent three seasons in the AHL with Binghamton before signing an NHL contract with the New York Rangers in 1993. After parts of six seasons in Manhattan, he later moved on to seasons with additional clubs including Montreal. We have a Canadiens “Vintage” jersey worn by the Deer Lake native in 2003-04, in a match against the Leafs on Jan 24th. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Featuring the most recognizable team crest in hockey, the jersey has been embellished with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Langdon” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Worn for just one contest, the jersey exhibits just light wear, including a few marks and burns over the left shoulder. A MeiGray patch numbered “B10803” sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Red Vintage Set 2 - Worn 1/24/04 vs. Toronto" example.
