Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The Ottawa Senators' franchise record holder for goals, assists and points, Daniel Alfredsson skated for the nation’s capital an impressive seventeen seasons, with a final swan song appearance made with the Detroit Red Wings in 2013-14. We have a signed stick used by the talented Swede circa 1995-96, during his rookie era, where he earned the Calder memorial as the NHL’s freshest face. A Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model, “Alfredsson 11” is stamped to the shaft, with the original and now tattered cloth wrap remaining on the handle/knob, with a white tape spiral pattern that descends down the shaft. Showing light use with the NHL striping accent intact, Daniel has signed the front side of the blade in black marker, and the signature displays nicely. A sticker from JSA numbered “I84553” has also been added to the lower shaft.
