Hall of Fame goalie Dominik Hasek got his 300th NHL win while wearing this photo-matched 2005-06 Ottawa Senators gamer. The Dominator reached the milestone in a 5-1 win against Boston at the Corel Centre on October 15, 2005 on his way to 389 career wins. For all but the first period of the Sens’ home opener, this is the red jersey that Hasek wore from October through the end of November. This historic jersey is photo-matched to Senators home games against Tampa Bay on Nov. 3 and Carolina on Nov. 15. There are two team repairs on the right sleeve, one in the white band and another on the black portion lower down. MeiGray patch with registry no. C07753 corresponds to the accompanying LOA, which has been laminated. According to the MeiGray population report jersey is a "Red Set 1 - 300th NHL Win 10/15/05".
Goalie style and size 58 flag tags hang in the back of the neck. The 2005-2006 Season square patch is sewn inside the rear hem, to the left of the MeiGray NHL Game-Worn 2004-2005 Season patch from the unplayed previous season.
Hasek’s jersey is photo-matched by a pair of screen captures, one from the Senators’ 4-2 win against Tampa Bay on Nov. 3, and the other from their 2-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Nov. 15, to the marks in the white panel on the right sleeve to the right of the numbers, and to the big long fold lines on the numbers on the back.
More game wear shows in black marks on the white stripes on the sleeves, a black mark on the right breast, and a bit of red paint transfer on the back of the right sleeve.
