Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Blessed with some of the best netminders to ever guard a crease including Georges Vezina, Jacques Plante and Ken Dryden, we have a collection of pucks totaling 11, with each signed by a goaltender that has represented la sainte flanelle. Highlighted by an example signed by deceased HOF legend Gump Worsley (D-2007), we have pucks signed by fellow Hall members Rogie Vachon and Tony Esposito, along with Charlie Hodge, Richard Sévigny, Phil Myre, Denis DeJordy, Denis Herron, Brian Hayward, Jocelyn Thibault and Mike Condon. Each puck was produced by InGlasCo and feature’s a Canadiens logo, with all signatures scripted in silver (the Worsley is signed in gold), with the majority adding their number. The signatures all display well with no issues (the Worsley is somewhat light), with just light handling wear to the pucks themselves. We should also note that each puck has a hologram affixed to the reverse except the Worsley. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
