Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Celebrating the career of legendary NHL defenceman Paul Coffey, we have an Oilers jersey worn on the special jersey retirement night honouring the superstar, on Oct 18th 2005, with this jersey donned during the warm-up by George Laracque, and it’s been signed by the pair. Elite, CCM Vintage and “Jumbo” size labeling are all affixed to the collar, with a CCM crest over the lower hem. Styled with the familiar oil drop team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with layered tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Laracque” across the nameplate in single blue twill. The pair has signed the reverse “7” in white, with Coffey above and Laracque below, with each signature displaying well. The jersey has also been photo-matched to an included 8” x 10” photo that clearly shows the Coffey signature. The team patch stating “Paul Coffey Night” sits on the inside hem, with an LOA signed by Kevin Lowe to accompany.
