Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Participating in every IIHF World Championship tournament and Winter Olympics since their forming, the Russian national hockey team won gold at the 2018 PyeongChang Games, with a 6th place finish at the 2010 Olympics. From the Vancouver Games, we have a goal mask signed by Team Russia. In solid white with Russian crests over each lower and upper side, a Vancouver Games logo sits over the forehead, with “Vancouver 2010” on each bottom side along with the Olympic rings over the chin section. 23 have signed throughout the surface in blue marker including Ovechkin, Bryzgalov, Nabokov, Korneyev, Nikulin, Zaripov, Grebeshkov, Tyutin, Volchenkov, Kalinin, Grebeshkov and others. The signatures display nicely, with just a few showing light loss from handling. A hologram from CSI is affixed at the bottom of the chin, with a COA to accompany. A 14” x 11” x 12” (the base extends) plexiglass display case with a small plaque affixed to the front is also included.
