Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Rick Nash was the club’s top goal, assist and point scorer, with the Columbus Blue Jackets advancing to the NHL playoffs for the first time in 2008-09. From that very season, we have a goal mask signed by the 2008-09 Blue Jackets squad. A Franklin GFM1000 model with a patriotic motif, team emblems have been placed over the chin, forehead and each lower side, with 22 signing in silver paint pen, including Mason, Novotny, Commodore, Norrena, Malhotra, Brassard, Wilson, Methot and others. The signatures display beautifully against the darker background, with a couple lightly smudged/touched from handling. A hologram from CSI has been affixed near the forehead, with a COA to accompany. A 14” x 11” x 12” (the base extends) plexiglass display case with a small plaque affixed to the front is also included.
