Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The NHL's premier talent showcase, the All-Star game can trace it's routes back to benefit games including those for Ace Bailey and Howie Morenz, with the current incarnation featuring a four-team, 3-on-3, single elimination format, with one team representing each of the league's four divisions. We have a collection of All-Star memorabilia from the 1998 to 2001 events, highlighted by desirable signed items. Included, we have a 1998 Eric Lindros souvenir All-Star jersey signed by the Big E, as well as Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Ken Dryden and others, with the black marker signatures displaying well, a 1998 Heroes of Hockey All-Star menu signed by Gordie and Marty Howe (set in a small 6" x 8" frame with no issues for the black ink signatures), a 1998 multi-signed All-Star Game program (signed by six on the cover, with light wear to the program), a 2001 All-Star Game signed cap, with fifteen black ink signatures including Wayne Gretzky, Marcel Dionne, Neal Broten, Chico Resch, Bobby Hull, Frank Mahovlich, Red Kelly and others, with no issues, and a 2001 All-Star game ticket signed by Marcel Dionne and Bryan Trottier, with moderate wear to the ticket and no issues for the signatures. Also included, we have 1998 and 2001 All-Star Game souvenir pucks, assorted tickets and passes (1998 and 2001), a 2001 All-Star Game plastic cup, a 2001 All-Star Game banner (34" x 62") and a few other items. Also included with no connection to the All-Star Game, we have what appears to be a complete 1984-85 Topps hockey card set, with a heavy bend to the key cards.
