A member of the famed Phillies "Whiz Kids" in 1950, Bob Church also appeared for the Cubs and Reds, posting a 36–37 record with 274 strikeouts over his six-season MLB career. From the landmark 1952 Topps release, recognized as the most important set of the modern, post-war era, we have Church’s #323 high-number card, encapsulated and graded MINT 9 by PSA, with an off center (OC) qualifier. Much more difficult to locate than the low-number cards issued in the first five series, the high-number cards from the final series (#311 to #407) are always on the watchlist of collectors, especially pleasing, mid-to-high grade examples. Off-center left to right, this high-grade example is ready for any world class 1952 assemblage.
