Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
First appearing in North America for the OHL’s Owen Sound Attack, defenceman Andrej Sekera was drafted by Buffalo in 2004, and he’s currently in his fourth season in Edmonton. We have an Oilers jersey worn by the Czech in 2015-16, where he appeared in 81 games. An Elite label and “56” size tag sit along the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Oilers team crest, the “White Set 1” V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Sekera” across the affixed nameplate in single navy twill. A few dark marks are visible over the right sleeve, along with a material-backed repair bordering the elbow. A crest from MeiGray numbered “M02423” sits on the inside hem near the team patch, with a matching LOA from the Oilers to accompany.
