Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Appearing for six different NHL clubs during his career including the defunct franchises of the Montreal Maroons and New York Americans, Bob Gracie would be crowned a Stanley Cup champion in 1932 and 1935. We have a signed 1933-34 World Wide Gum Ice Kings card of the North Bay native, with this example encapsulated and certified “AUTHENTIC AUTO” by PSA/DNA. Signed to the left of his image in black ink, the signature displays beautifully, with the card itself in low grade, with corner wear and a few small stains. The reverse has also been heavily damaged, with some of the text missing from paper loss, with glue residue also left from prior scrapbook removal. Gracie would pass away at the young age of 52, in 1963.
