Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Beginning play for the Brazil national team at only 16, Pele would win World Cups with his nation in 1958, 1962 and 1970. The midfielder is the all-time leading goal scorer for Brazil, and is recognized as one of the greatest football players in history. We have a 1970 Brazil national team replica jersey that has been signed by the superstar. An Athleta label graces the collar, with the Brazilian “CBD” crest over the left breast (Confederação Brasileira de Desportos). A green collar and cuffs have also been utilized over the yellow body, along with “10” over the verso. Pele has signed his full name, “Edson A. Nascimento” in black marker beneath the collar, with no issues for the signature. A sticker from PSA/DNA numbered “AD77866” has been placed over the label, with a matching COA to accompany.
