Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Eclectic group here dates back to 1921 and two American Caramel E121 cards, with cards of St. Louis Cardinals' pitcher Jeff Pfeffer and Cincinnati Reds' third baseman Heinie Groh both in SGC holders labeled "30 GOOD 2". The Groh example displays much better but a crease and staining on the reverse look to have lowered it. The Goudey Gum Company also has a couple of entries, with Dazzy Vance's '33 Goudey card #2 slabbed GOOD 2 by PSA and Jimmy Foxx one of four players depicted in a '35 Goudey 4 in 1 card, assessed at 10 POOR 1 by SGC. Completing is a sharp PSA NM 7 rookie card of #57-Bob McCall, part of Leaf's 1949 issue, although erroneously identified as "1948" on the PSA holder.
