Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Patrick Roy, the skinny kid who backstopped the Montreal Canadiens to an unlikely Stanley Cup championship as a rookie in the spring of 1986, got to appear on hockey cards the following fall/winter, wearing his first NHL mask. Two 1986-87 Topps Roy rookie cards are offered here and are housed in Beckett BCCG holders. One is labeled "10 Mint or Better" while the other label reads "9 Near Mint or Better". Complementing the pair are two PSA GEM MT 10 cards; '90-91 OPC Premier #101 and '91-92 Topps #413. The cards of one of hockey's all-time greatest clutch goalies await the high bidder here.
