Featuring the oldest and most collected club in all of hockey, we have a group of Montreal Canadiens team photos totaling 10 and spanning from 1915-16 to 1945-46, with additional items including 11 Quaker Oats Habs photos, 14 ticket stubs from the final season at the Forum, a 1935 Crown Brand booklet with Canadiens and Maroons team photos and a 1962-63 NHL schedule. The team photos include a Rice panoramic example for 1937-38, Crown Brand examples for 1935-36 (missing backing), 1937-38, 1938-39 and 1939-40, followed by 8” x 10” examples for 1934-35 and 1945-46 and an oversized photo (10” x 13 ½”) for 1935-36. There is also a large full-colour schedule poster from 1938-39 and a modern copy of a 1915-16 team photo (8” x 10”) with David Bier stamp over the reverse.
The additional Quaker Oats photos include Reay, Lucas, Chamberlain, Bouchard, Durnan, Mosdell, Reardon, Harmon and a few others. The majority of the photos show just light handling wear with no major condition issues. The Rice photo (3 ½” x 8 ½”) has a few punch holes over the left and paper residue over the reverse from scrapbook removal, with a few large creases and wrinkles also present. The Crown Brand photos (6 ½” x 10 ½” including mount) also show light wear to the images, with some creasing and edge wear to the mounts. The Crown booklet shows moderate wear, especially along the spine, while the 1934-35 and 1945-46 photos exhibit moderate wear including some residue over the reverse of the latter along with some dirt staining. Lastly, the 1935-36 photo shows toning along with a few large tears and small holes, with just creasing, toning and fold lines the main concern on the the 1938-39 schedule poster. As an added bonus, an album with 33 full-colour 8” x 10” photos is included, with these featuring the Canadiens when they made a trip to Russia circa early-1990s.
