Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Hailing from his final season of six with Montreal, we have a Canadiens jersey that was worn by Alex Galchenyuk between March 2nd and April 7th in 2018, with the Habs playing their last two games of the season on the road, making this most likely the last Canadiens jersey he wore. Accompanying the jersey, we have a puck used by Pacioretty to score a goal against Tampa Bay, at 16:29 of the 2nd period, on Feb 24th 2018 which was his last goal as a member of the Montreal Canadiens. “56” sizing appears along an Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring the famous CH team crest partially-embroidered, the “Away Set 3” faux-tie neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Galchenyuk” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. An LOA will accompany for the jersey, with a COA for the puck.
A hologram numbered “GU22270” has been affixed to the reverse “7”, with the accompanying LOA from the Canadiens matching. There are a few washed out marks over each sleeve, with a small hole near the left elbow. The puck has had tape added along the side with the particulars handwritten, with hologram numbered “GU16071” affixed, with this number matching the accompanying COA from the Canadiens. The puck shows light to moderate wear with a few small cuts. An 8” x 10” photo showing the Habs celebrating post goal will also be included.
