Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A dream come true to be selected by his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Matt Stajan first spent three seasons in the OHL with the Belleville Bulls, scoring 206 points in 182 games including finishing 8th in league scoring with 94 points as well as leading his team the year the offered alternate captain’s jersey was worn, in 2002-03. Nike and Pro player labels with “58” sizing grace the collar, with embroidered Nike and CHL crests over the lower hem. Styled with an attractive Bulls team crest with embroidered detailing, “14” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder along with “Stajan” over the affixed nameplate in red-over-black tackle twill.
Surviving in gorgeous condition, just light wear is exhibited, with a few marks over the lower front and upper left sleeve, with some minor faint staining visible just above the front band.
