Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A two-time Stanley Cup champion, winning with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Black Hawks, Tomas Kopecky began his rise to the NHL with a pair of seasons played in Lethbridge, where he would score over 125 points, averaging better than a-point-a-game. From his first season in the WHL, we have a Hurricanes jersey worn by the Czech native, in 2000-01. Nike and Pro Player labels with “58” sizing grace the collar, with embroidered Nike and CHL crests over the lower hem. Styled with a multi-coloured and textured team crest, “9” appears over the sleeves and verso in burgundy-over-navy tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Showing great use, a number of dark marks are present over the front and sleeves, with scuff marks along with a few very small holes near the left elbow.
