Some classic colorful O-Pee-Chee backgrounds/designs and some legends are featured here, with the rookie cards of Bill Cook and Toe Blake leading the star power. The 1937-38 Blake rookie is F, with a heavy side-to-side crease and light back damage that barely affects a bit of the text, while the '33-34 Cook RC, actually picturing Bill's brother Bun, is also low grade (P), with rounded corners and multiple light creases, but no writing, rips, holes. Other '33-34 OPC entries include three graded examples; #65-Vernon Ayers is a PSA VG 3, while 69-Alex Smith pictures Hooley Smith and received a mark of Good 2 from PSA, with 30-John Sheppard slabbed VG 3 by SGC. Raw cards from the same issue are highlighted by 32-Hap Day (F), with 18-Lorne Chabot and 71-Cecil Dillon both P due to back damage. Remaining eight cards are '37-38s with blue "framing" and include 166-Baldy Northcott graded VG 3 by KSA. Sharp-looking card is lowered by subtle back damage, with three raw cards appearing similarly crease-free; 164-Evans, 165-Robinson and 179-Shannon. Four lesser lights do not have issues on the reverse but are multi-creased and P; 148-Smith, 155-Haynes, 158-Drouin and 168-Trottier.
