Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

The lower grade early-Parkhurst parade continues here, with condition issues to report, but also some decent crease-free examples in the mix. Key cards of Gordie Howe and Terry Sawchuk are in older ACA holders and labelled "3 VG". With indeed the appearance of VG cards, they however are affected by dime-size tape stains on the middle back, with minor paper loss in the case of Sawchuk. We count 30 others with similar or more severe back damage, including an otherwise VG 51-George Armstrong RC, along with 3-Geoffrion, 59-Lumley and 105-Hassard. The #1 card of Maurice Richard is off-centered, multi-creased and P, while the Tim Horton rookie is not present. Also missing are 47-Flaman and 61-Pronovost. Other notables are 10-Dickie Moore RC (F), 14-Harvey (G+), 53-Delvecchio (VG) and 87-Lindsay (G). Some two dozen are crease-free and in the VG, VG+ and VG-EX realm, with 6-Lach (VG) and 12-McNeil (VG-EX) among them. Others are lower, with however only a few multi-creased unsightly real low grade examples.
