Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
With Malton Arena and Wildwood Park in Mississauga renamed to honour Paul Coffey in 2016, the iconic HOFer remains one of only two defenceman in NHL history to rack up more than 100 points in multiple seasons. We have a signed Sher-Wood PMP 5030 model that was used in the late-1990s, circa 1996-98. The type of model Coffey used with both Hartford and Philadelphia, “Coffey 77” factory graphics appear over both the top and underside of the shaft, with the NHL striping accent intact. The original white tape remains over the blade and black over the shaved handle, with Coffey adding an attractive black marker signature over the front side of the blade. Light use is exhibited on the desirable lumber, with wear to the underside of the blade including a rip to the tape.
