Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Appearing in 70 games during his final NHL season in 1998-99, we have a keepsake from the very last contest, with a ticket stub to the New York Rangers’ April 18 match vs Pittsburgh, which served as the last game every played by Wayne Gretzky. Accompanying the ticket and ideal for matched display, we have a final season Rangers program, with this example possibly serving as Wayne’s final program. With a generic unscored sheet and no line-up, determining the game is difficult. The ticket stub is approx 2 ½” x 6”, with the date printed along with the $35.00 purchase price listed, with light wear including a large horizontal crease and staple holes. The program feature’s Wayne on the cover and appears complete, with no major issues and just moderate to heavier handling wear.
