A standout with Pardubice HC in the Czech Extraliga, Radovan Somik was drafted 100th overall by Philadelphia, spending a pair of seasons in Pennsylvania in the early-2000s. From his rookie season where he appeared in 60 games, we have a Flyers jersey worn by the Czech, in 2002-03. A CCM label with “58” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with the famous Flyers team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with white sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with “Somik” across the affixed nameplate in single black twill. The fight strap and MeiGray patch (A03032) are marked “promo”, with these examples listed as the “Player’s Set” in the MeiGray population report. Sporting a clean front, board burns are visible near and over each elbow section, with additional examples along with small resulting holes over the right shoulder. A COA from longtime Flyers’ trainer Jim “Turk” Evers will accompany.
