Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
A Memorial Cup winner with the Windsor Spitfires in 2009, netminder Andrew Engelage went next to the Toronto Marlies, with 2 seasons spent with the club including a tryout with the Toronto Maple Leafs. We have a Leafs jersey that was worn by the Oshawa native in training camp, in 2009-10. “Goalie Style” labeling along with a size “58” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the famous Leafs team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with blue and white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Engelage” across the affixed nameplate in oversized blue twill. With just a few marks present including a pair of burns to the left of the team crest, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. A MeiGray patch numbered “G078525” has been placed over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White Set 1 - Training Camp Only" example.
