Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
The Lester B. Pearson Award recipient in 1981, goaltender Mike Liut spent time in both the WHA and NHL, with his stops in the parent league to include St Louis, Hartford and Washington. We have a team-signed stick used by the Weston native in 1987-88, his fourth season in Connecticut. A Louisville model with “Liut” stamped-on, the stick retains the original black tape over the blade and white over the knob. “Hartford” has been handwritten over the shaft in marker, with nice use exhibited, with wear to the blade tape including a split, with some red paint transfer over the shaft. Approx 30 have signed one side of the shaft/paddle in black marker, including Francis, Samuelsson, Robertson, Kleinendorst, Quenneville, Murzyn, Sidorkiewicz and others, along with coach Jack Evans and GM Emile Francis.
