Winner of the James Norris trophy as the NHL’s premier defender in both 1991 and 1994, superstar Ray Bourque currently holds the all-time NHL records for most career goals, assists, and points by a defenceman. We have a signed stick that saw action in the early-1990s, with this particular example gifted from the legendary Bruin directly to our consignor, Ken Daniels. A sportscaster with CBC from 1985 to 1997, Daniels is currently the play-by-play announcer for the Detroit Red Wings on Fox Sports Detroit. A Sher-Wood PMP 7030 model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear on the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its original black tape over the blade and white over the shaved handle. Factory codes appear over the underside, along with “Handcrafted exclusively for Ray Bourque”. The NHL striping accent is intact, with Ray signing over the front side heel in black marker, with no issues for the signature. Just light use is exhibited, with minimal wear to the underside of the blade and shaft, along with a bit of red paint transfer over both sides of the shaft. An LOA from Ken Daniels will accompany.
